Pre season test?

How useful will the pre season test be when it happens only two weeks before the first race? They have to fly the cars out and back for the test then fly out again for the race. Doesn't leave any time if they find a major problem. This seems yet another disadvantage for the "smaller" teams.

Any team that doesn't take part is going to be adversely impacted. Even
2 weeks is enough time to change components that don't work as expected.

F1 is never going to be cheap so the smaller teams either need to have
backing or a very good car or they go under. Harsh but that is the way
it has always been.

Cheers

Ferrari may end up the worst off considering last season.
