I must admit to being a Senna fan, despite some of the dumb moves he made.

But the new Netflix series is really disappointing. Way too many quick
cuts to cars on track which neither add to the story of Senna's career
or his character, nor demonstrate what the cars were like back in those
days.

I did glean a few facts from the first couple of episodes. For example,
I never knew he'd been married at the start of his European driving
seasons, or that he'd been divorced from her. Nothing startling in that,
of course, but something I hadn't known. He always felt like a man too
dedicated to his driving/winning to have time for any deep involvement
with another person. Well, apparently not with his mother, if the series
is giving us a true representation of her.

I don't know if I will bother with more of the series. Too bad: I was
quite looking forward to it.

The production value is great, but honestly I lost interest for the
reasons you describe.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I've never been a Senna 'true believer' but was considering watching
this. I won't bother. Cheers.
