Hamilton could have equalled Fangio's record of 3 consec. wins
at Monza. I did some checking a few weeks ago, these are the
other winning sequences at a particular track.

Five
====
Monaco A Senna 1989/90/91/92/93

Four
====

New Delhi S Vettel 2011/12/13
Monaco N Rosberg 2013/14/15
Silverstone L Hamilton 2014/15/16

Notes:

1. Fangio's 3rd win was a shared drive
2. Schumacher's 3rd win was in a race with only 6 starters
3. Clark's 3 wins were interspersed with GPs at Brands Hatch
(He also won the 1964 GP at BH).

There are 19 drivers with 4 wins at an event.

M Schumacher 4 AUS, BRA, GER, HUN
S Vettel 3 JPN, MAS, SIN
L Hamilton 3 CHN, GBR, USA
JM Fangio 2 ARG, FRA
J Clark 2 BEL, NED
N Mansell 2 FRA, GBR

And one each for Räikkönen (BEL), Piquet (ITA), Prost (MON).

It's also possible to count wins in a particular country, since
several countries have hosted events with different names - notably
the European GPs & San Marino.

M Schumacher 12 ITA (5), RSM (7)
A Prost 6 ITA (3), RSM (3)
N Piquet 5 ITA (4), RSM (1) [1 X ITA at Imola]
A Senna 5 ITA (2), RSM (3)
S Moss 4 ITA (3), Pes (1) [Pescara GP]
D Hill 4 ITA (2), RSM (2)

A Senna 5 USA (2), Det (3) [See note below]

It can be argued that the GPs in Detroit were also US GPs, but in my
files (and in Forix) I differentiate some of the US events.

N Mansell 5 GBR (4), Eur (1)

M Schumacher 7 ESP (6), Eur (1)
M Häkkinen 4 ESP (3), Eur (1)

M Schumacher 9 GER (4), Eur (5) [All 'home' wins]
F Alonso 5 GER (3), Eur (2)

M Schumacher 8 JPN (6), Pac (2) [Pacific GP]

S Vettel 5 ABD (3), BHR (2) [Both in the UAE]

OK the last is also debatable.
