Is it just me? I have been unable to read any recent articles on
GrandPrix.com for the last three days. I get a message stating that
the page is not available when I click on any article link.
Since new articles keep appearing, I am left to suspect that the site
is unaware of any issues. I can still read articles from March 11th
and older, so it is not that the site is completely down.
It won't help with the problem, but I could perhaps take some comfort
in the knowledge that the issue doesn't just lie with me.
I looked at the site yesterday (or was it the day before?) and it worked
but today I got an apology page saying: “You may have received this page
because we are launching new features or there is a problem on the site”.
There seems to be something of a shake up going on in the world F1 news
sites; I can longer get GPUpdate, the old url switches me through to
Autosport. Joe Saward also now has a new (and improved I must say) site.
Motorsport.com is buying them all up.
And to the best of my knowledge that site is owned by a certain Zak
Brown. So guess how impartial it is! Plenty of stories about anything
related to McLaren of course.
He's Non Executive Chairman, whatever that means. He's got a personal
http://www.zakbrown.com (watch out for auto starting video telling world
how clever he is - typical gobby septic.)
He's all over the place - not only McLaren, but also Cosworth
Motorsport.com own the following
In May 2016, Motorsport Network acquired iconic English company Amalgam
Holdings. In October 2016, Motorsport Network bought the motorsport
properties of Haymarket Media Group, which includes Autosport, F1 Racing
and LAT Photographic. In November 2016, the company bought Motors TV. In
April 2017, Motorsport Network bought Keith Sutton's and David Phipp's
+ Duke Video
How much influence is this one publishing company having over F1?
