Boullier: new spectacular aero update will enhance changes of making
it to Q2 later this year.
In hindsight they should have stayed with Honda, they deserve each other.

Boulier couldn't make success with Renault. They do well without him. McLaren problems started with Boulier on board. There is nothing that this guy can fix this year.

McLaren Honda was a disaster before it started.
So McLaren have some kind of an excuse not having a PU for all these years.
Still, they where not able to calculate the power they put on the road compared
to the competition, which is not too difficult to do in my opinion.
A team leader of course is responsible but he have to rely on the different departments.
I find it unbelievable that a team that spends a million a day/365 days a year making
mistakes at this magnitude.

I dunno. Ferrari spend as much and they've been crap for years. They
were told in 2008 their wind tunnel wasn't up to the job. They ignored
the warning and sacked the messenger, then discovered he was correct.
This forced them to use the Toyota wind tunnel, I'm not sure that proved
to be much better.

Had you thought of giving up your job at the supermarket and replacing
Boullier?

Well as soon as anybody start paying me an insane amount of F1
money, sure I will start solving their problems.
Unfortunately for them, they are like you and think they can
only hire people from their incompetent pool of people.

Most start on a sane amount of money and prove their worth. Where's

Reminds me of a quote by Tommy Sopwith.
He built thousands of fighter and bomber planes in WW1, including of course the Camel.

Anyway, one of his first bombers was built by hand on the floor of a hanger, and was flown, and worked well. The Ministry came down to check it, liked its performance, and said yes, you can go into production, but first give us all the drawings to examine.

There were none, so Tommy had the plane taken partly dismantled, and drew chalk lines around it on the floor, and turned them into drawings for the Ministry.

His quote:
WHEN THE WEIGHT OF THE PAPERWORK EQUALS THE WEIGHT OF THE PLANE, THE PLANE WILL FLY.
